Delicate garter meets textured fluted fabric in soft Moods shades Pistachio, Reed and Dragonfly. The pattern begins with a garter-tab cast-on over three provisional stitches, then grows top-down with short-row shaping. Blocked size is about 224 cm wide and 38 cm deep.
One-colour garter sections alternate with two-colour fluted sections in asymmetrical stripes. A three-stitch garter edge frames the top, an I-cord worked on the wrong side finishes the lower edge with a firm cord.
Written for Cheeky Merino Joy, soft wool from 100% merino with about 320 m per 100 g. You need 56 g in colour A plus 100 g each in B and C. Needle size 3.5 mm on 80 cm circular or longer. The yarn feels springy and smooth in the hand, stitches stay even and the edge stays tidy.
