Malie brings lightness into summer knitting: dropped shoulders, wide body and stripes shifting between texture and open eyelet. Small rolled edges at neck and armholes close the lines without bulk. In Taupe the Cheeky Merino Joy keeps stitches even and gives a soft sheen.
Very loose, sleeveless shape, back slightly longer and rounded. Sizes XS to L5 cover bust 28 to 62 inches, finished underarm bust from 109.5 to 193 cm. Measure bust and pick ease generous.
Seamless bottom up from folded tubular cast-on for a round hem. German short rows shape longer back, then alternate texture and eyelet to underarm. Front and back worked separately, shoulders shaped with short rows and joined with three-needle bind-off. Pick up around neck and armholes and work stockinette for rolled hems.
